Reviews

‘The road to retirement is plagued with potholes. This wonderful, comforting book examines every aspect – social, spiritual, recreational, financial, from pastimes and pensions to relationships, health and happiness – and offers expert knowledge and colourful, road-tested advice. And it works. A life-changing triumph!’
Mark Ellen, writer and broadcaster

‘As a child of the 60s, ambitious and career driven, I needed to read this book. I now no longer fear life’s next chapter but instead I’m shouting “Bring it on!”’
Jo Good, BBC Radio London

‘At last – an authentic and connecting book from an author who shares how to be inspired after 60 – a definitive and rather rocking “go to” guide.’
Helen Lederer, comedian and actor

Editing

I started my working life editing non-fiction books, first at Weidenfeld and then Bodley Head children’s books. I still edit books on a freelance basis, and I love working with other authors to help organise their material from the early stages onwards.
